Our manufacturing unit is located at KINFRA Industries Park, Kunnamthanam in Pathanamthitta District. We had submitted an application for financial assistance under ESS (investment support) for the recent expansion work that we have done. The application ID is 6182 and the date of application was 18/11/2021. But, the application is still not able to present before the District level committee. The reason is that the concerned officer in the DIC, Pathanamthitta is not able to view the given land value in his office login account. But it's clearly stated in our individual application and the hard copies submitted at the office is found to be correct after the inspection and verification process. The only thing is due to some technical error in the ESS application website while viewing through the officer login. The concerned officer has submitted a written request to the DIC head office at Thiruvananthapuram indicating these matters. But till now, we are not able to get a proper reply from them. Hence, I request you to take a quick prompt response so as to solve this issue or kindle give instructions to the concerned district level DIC to proceed with our application and grant our subsidy amount considering the physical application and documents that we had submitted. The error message showing as 'Please contact administrator'. This is the most common error in the ESS portal even during the application as some of the special characters are not allowed. But in the error message it will not be displayed properly. This is not good for an official portal. Let us know whether any such limitations in the appeal option too; such as word limits or any kind of objection to some special characters. I worked in Royal Enfield for 3 years in Bangalore before moving to the UK for my higher studies. The main reason I chose to move out of India was the unhealthy working conditions even at the best corporate companies in the country. I feel so proud and optimistic about the recent progress Kerala has been making in reshaping her industrial and manufacturing capabilities. And as an engineer and aspiring entrepreneur myself I wish to leave a signature of myself for my people. But I am often stuck at what is the ideal product or service that my state need to be self sufficient. Lot of options come to my mind but I am not quite sure where to look and how to find the best market gap to capitalize. I am sure a lot of young professionals like me are facing the same dilemma. My suggestion and request to the government and its leadership is to have a platform for market research and analysis to find the gaps in our economy where we can find investors and developers to create our own products and services that can make our state self sufficient. I believe the most important goal of an economy is to ensure the sustainable supply of products and services that meet the demands of the state. And a cooperative pooling of resources of primary goods and raw materials under the public sector ownership can regulate the availability of goods within the state. A platform that tracks and monitors the production capacity, volume and sale of each commodity and their value added products can help us in understanding the demands of the market and focus on optimizing the supply of that commodity by increasing the production or by creating new businesses that convert these primary goods to finished products in Kerala itself. There are lot of commodities that come to my mind of which processed products are often imported from outside the state or country. I believe such a platform will help new investors to find the right market gap which can give them quick returns and thereby increasing the production of primary goods in the state, which will have guaranteed buyers in the state. I am not completely sure about the already existing resources which may be serving this purpose partially or fully.
